A: Our Aveda artists are super specialists in creating natural looks and bringing out the best in the hair of the models, using high performance natural products that work on all hair types.
A: The hair looks I think we’ll be seeing in the coming season are super-sleek, straight and shiny hair and more of the natural “your-hair-but-better”.
Q: What are your go-to backstage products for New York Fashion Week?
A: In 2020, my top hair products will be from Aveda’s new hydration collection, nutriplenish™. This range features a light and deep shampoo and conditioner, a leave-in conditioner and multi-use hair oil that can provide customized hydration to any type of hair. The products are fueled with a superfood complex that provides nutrient-powered hydration in an authentic, high-performing natural way that I have not experienced before. I especially love the nutriplenish™ leave-in conditioner – its lightweight formula has a spray application which allows for great control over the amount of product being applied. It’s also great to add a boost of hydration to any hair look – I know it will be a must-have for my backstage looks!
Q: What has been your favorite Fashion Week show ever?
Why does it stand out?
A: I love doing the shows for Stella McCartney as her ethos is so close to our ethos, I always say, it’s marriage made in heaven.
